75 nm Overnight Sailing Race

  • Lake Ontario 115 Lakefront Promenade Mississauga, ON, L5E 3G6 Canada (map)

Complete.

Watch OUR FIRST OVERNIGHT RACE Youtube Vlog as TWP Founders take on the "Susan Hood"; a 75 Nautical Mile Race along Western Lake Ontario from Port Credit to Clarkson to Niagara to Burlington and back to Port Credit. This vlog was the pilot to our Adventure Advocacy Campaigns approach.

Exploration leads to restoration. Connecting deeper with the natural world through water sport and outdoor explorations fuels us to restore what we love, our dear Mama Gaia (mother earth).

“At TWP, we believe that the greatest conservation impact is born from teaching the regenerative mindset and creating socio-environmental change together. The desire to care and restore the health of our water, soil, and air begins with our collective privilege and opportunity to first connect with it, explore it and repsect it. In conservation we emphasize that without connection, there is no protection and without exploration there is no restoration. Seeing tankers, wind patterns, currents of waste, shoreline development etc while sailing is an important visual survey of the health of Lake Ontario.”

Deep thanks to ‘True North’ Captains, Simon Mielniczuk and Jory Gibson for this adventure.
