Honouring Traditional Territories and Communities with Respect. With deep respect and compassionate listening, we acknowledge, honour that the land TWP has operated on includes the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples since time immemorial. In July 2024, Co-Founders of TWP relocated their residence to Meaford Ontario, the Traditional Territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation along the beautiful shoreline of Georgian Bay. We offer deep gratitude to the spirit and creator of the land during each earth event and eco-trip. Before an eco-trip, TWP calls in our respects, thanks and arrival onto the land. Where feasible, TWP works with Indigenous-owned parks to support and better understand traditional practices, connection and protection of their lands.
